Prof. David Campbell

Member of the Board of Trustees

Prof. David F. J. Campbell is an Associate Professor of Comparative Political Science at the University of Vienna. He also serves as the Head of the Center for Higher Education Governance and Transformation at the University for Continuing Education Krems in Austria. His research focuses include Comparative Political Science, Quality of Democracy, Knowledge Democracy, Knowledge Economy, Higher Education Systems, and Innovation. Prof. Campbell also has a deep interest in Art and Arts, particularly in the field of Artistic Research.

Prof. Ulrich Brückner

Member of the Board of Trustees

Prof. Ulrich Brückner studied Political Science, German Literature, and History at the University of Würzburg and the Freie Universität Berlin (FU Berlin). He has specialized in European integration since 1987. Prof. Brückner is the Jean Monnet Professor for European Studies at Stanford University in Berlin. In addition to his academic career, he is a political analyst for international media and a frequent speaker at various professional forums. He has taught in America, Asia, and Europe.

Thomas Bauer

Prof. Thomas A. Bauer has been a Professor emeritus at the Department of Communication at the University of Vienna since 2013. He began his academic career at the university in 1993 as a Chair of Audio-Visual Media. Over his distinguished career, he developed a comprehensive program that encompasses Media Cultural Studies, Media Literacy Studies, Media Theory, Medilogy. In frame of teaching- and research programs he has built an international network for alternative use of media for which he as welll is engaged as the president of ESEC (European Society for Education and Communication).

Mehmet Fatih İzgi

Executive Assistant

Mehmet Fatih İzgi completed his undergraduate studies in Political Science and International Relations at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. He is also an alumnus of the International Baccalaureate program, which provided him with a strong foundation in diverse academic disciplines. Currently, he is pursuing a Master’s degree in International and Development Studies at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Geneva. His research interests are focused on political philosophy, identity politics, and critical studies, reflecting a commitment to understanding the complexities of global and local socio-political dynamics.
